Dan Zheng, the head of Blue Marlin, wants his restaurant to be a private kitchen and friendly living room rather than another sterile Western restaurant with cold flatware and white tablecloths.

The Western Bar & Restaurant belongs to Blue Marlin Group. Since its opening in 1999, Blue Marlin has expanded with branches in Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi and Hefei – 12 locations in total. For the last 15 years, each has utilized creative dishes and music shows to provide a friendly and pleasant family atmosphere.

As the first direct chain location in Beijing, Blue Marlin-Beijing can be found on the east side of Hilton Hotel in the traffic-free embassy district near East Third Ring.
