Tibetan singer Tsering Norbu is performing at 69 café this Friday. Don’t miss out if you are a fan of Tibetan music.

Norbu’s music is rooted in traditional Tibetan folk. But he adds to that a unique blend of reggae, rock and folk rock. The young musician tries to recreate and change ancient Tibetan music by using modern and traditional instruments from Tibet and beyond.

His songs are a unique, new blend of Tibetan folk rock that interweaves ethnic elements and modern musical expression.

Tsering has been playing music and performing for many years. Although he tries to add new elements to his music, he never stays away from the simple innocence of Tibet’s tradition.

His music is both calming and spiritual, and his live performances never lose their appeal.
